Central Asia’s diaspora is increasingly taking root beyond traditional destinations, spreading through East Asia, Western Europe & the Arabian Gulf. This growing diversification helps protect remittances from overconcentrated geopolitical risk while preserving their critical contribution to economic growth. However, it also requires developing new channels & strengthening existing ones to support remittance flows.
This session explores how Central Asian jurisdictions can work together to provide safe, affordable & resilient remittance corridors that support the flow of funds between citizens abroad & communities at home.
