Roman Rybalkin

Roman Rybalkin is a Director & Lead Analyst for Central Asia and Caucasus sovereign and financial institutions ratings at S&P Global Ratings. His coverage also expands to insurance sector in the region. Before his current role Roman has been covering financial institutions in emerging markets including Russia, Central Asia, Caucasus, Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to joining S&P Global Ratings in 2012, Roman worked as a rating analyst for financial institutions at a local Russian rating agency and a sell-side fixed income analyst at a securities firm.

Roman is a CFA Charterholder. He graduated with honors from Moscow State University with a Master's degree in Oriental Studies. A Russian speaker, Roman speaks fluent Arabic and English and some French.
