Louise Lucas is a Lex writer at the Financial Times, specialising in technology, defence and the telecoms, media and technology sectors. She has spent more than three decades at the FT, holding senior reporting and editing roles across London and Asia. These have included Asia technology correspondent in Hong Kong, Asia news editor, Asia Lex writer in Tokyo, consumer industries editor and acting Lex editor. Her reporting has covered some of the most significant shifts in Asian business and technology, and she has received multiple journalism awards, including recognition from the Society of Publishers in Asia. Louise holds a BA from the University of Oxford.
