Nafisa Feeney is the General Manager and Head of Legal at Paynt Limited, a UK payments institution, where she leads legal, regulatory and governance strategy. She plays a key role in Paynt's UK authorisation programme and advises on cross-border payments, AI governance across the UK and EU regulatory landscape.

With over 15 years' experience in legal, governance and financial services, Nafisa has held senior leadership positions across regulated financial institutions and regulatory environments. She was the head of legal at Astana International Financial Center and is a frequent international speaker on payments, fintech, AI governance, AML/CFT, and regulatory innovation, known for translating complex regulatory requirements into practical business solutions. Nafisa holds a PhD in Law and is passionate about helping financial institutions build resilient, technology-enabled compliance frameworks that support innovation while maintaining trust.
