Umidjon Khoshimov

Umidjon Khoshimov is a fintech and innovation policy professional at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, where he leads initiatives focused on fintech market and ecosystem development. His work covers fintech policy and strategy, startup and venture capital development, innovation hub and fintech talent development.
Prior to joining the Central Bank, he spent nearly six years working in Uzbekistan’s science, technology and innovation ecosystem, where he was actively involved in the development and implementation of policies and programmes supporting research, innovation, technology commercialization and startup ecosystem development. During this period, he also coordinated major international programmes and partnerships and contributed to attracting significant grants and investments for science, technology and innovation initiatives.
