Yevgen Lisnyak is Vice President at Visa and Head of Strategic Partnerships, Fintech, Acquiring and Merchants for Central Asia, the Caucasus, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus and the Balkan countries, covering 17 markets.
He is responsible for identifying, supporting and developing high-potential partnerships with banks, fintechs, payment facilitators and merchants, helping Visa expand digital payments and support the growth of cashless economies across the region. Yevgen joined Visa in 2016 as Head of Innovation Solutions, where he led the launch of transit and smart city solutions across CISSEE countries. Today, he focuses on partnerships with neobanks, mobile financial services providers, digital strategies of traditional banks, disruptive fintech companies, acquirers and merchants, while also supporting fintech and acceptance ecosystem development across the region.
Yevgen has extensive expertise in banking, payments and fintech, with experience
building Visa’s strategic partnerships across Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia,
Albania, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other
markets. Before joining Visa, Yevgen gained 15 years of international experience in IT and
consulting with leading global companies. He holds a master’s degree in applied
physics and mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology –
MIPT.
