Nafees Khundker is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bitsmedia, the technology company behind the Muslim Pro App and Qalbox, globally recognised platforms serving the needs of the worldwide Muslim community, with over 190 million downloads.
Since joining the Bitsmedia Board in June 2023, Nafees has led the company’s strategic expansion across digital Islamic services, driving growth in Halal lifestyle solutions that combine technology, content, and community engagement.
With more than 20 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Nafees previously held senior leadership roles at Deutsche Bank and Standard Chartered across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. His expertise spans strategic investment, governance, and scaling cross-border businesses in regulated markets.
In parallel, Nafees is an active Venture Capital Partner, supporting companies in sectors aligned with the Halal economy, including finance, media, and technology. He also champions ethical growth and sustainability initiatives within the broader Muslim ecosystem.
