Shirin Jamshidi

Senior Investment Director, Alma Sustainable Finance (AlmaVest)

Shirin Jamshidi serves as the Senior Director of Investments at ALMA Sustainable Finance (ALMA), a US-based global private credit company. Mrs. Jamshidi has over 15 years of experience across various fields, including finance, strategic planning, and management consulting in both government and private sector capacities. Prior to ALMA recently, Mrs. Jamshidi was a Director of Investments in the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). Prior to her civil service roles, Mrs. Jamshidi was a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting clients to develop large-scale renewable energy projects through public private partnerships. During her graduate studies, Mrs. Jamshidi worked for the Structured Finance Team at Credit Agricole Bank’s North America office. She co-authored the article "Financial Hedges in Merchant Power Project Finance” for the 2016 issue of the Journal of Structured Finance. Mrs. Jamshidi has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from University of California, San Diego, and a Master's of International Affairs in Global Energy Policy and Finance from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs
