Across the Silk Road nations, rapid digital transformation and deepening market integration are creating the conditions for a genuinely connected regional economy — but connectivity has to be built before it can be felt. This dialogue will examine the architecture that underpins open, embedded finance: the interoperable rails and open-finance standards that allow institutions to plug into one another, the capital required to finance the build, and the regional rulebook — interoperability, licensing and data governance — that turns separate national markets into a single connected system. Grounded in current industry practice, the discussion will explore what must exist technically, financially and institutionally for these shared foundations to hold across borders, and how the region can build them together.
