Saroy: Scaling Digital Finance Through Shared Infrastructure
Echoing the caravanserais that built trust across thousands of miles
Programme Pillar
The digital rails, open standards, and identity infrastructure that make finance scalable
Every 30 kilometres along the ancient Silk Road stood a caravanserai, a node of trust that made long-distance commerce possible. Merchants did not need to know every counterparty. They needed to trust the infrastructure. Finance requires the same.
This pillar builds the open banking APIs, digital identity frameworks, and payment standards that allow financial systems to scale across jurisdictions, the shared architecture that makes everything else in this programme function.
With Central Asia's southern trade routes through Iran disrupted and the Middle Corridor absorbing the overflow, the systems that carry data and payments across borders have become as strategically significant as the physical routes they shadow.
Saroy is where that infrastructure is built.
